Originally invented in the 1900s purely for protection from the rain... but by the 1960’s the transition from functional to fashionable peaked! 
By the 80’s potential was growing but by the 90’s despite LL Cool J and Jay-Z representing .. it was a flop. 
Some mixed feelings rose into the 2000’s. 
Fast forward to 2021 and Rihanna has announced her love for the style. So here we are.. celebrating 90’s nostalgia and bringing bucket hats right into the spotlight again!
